Comments:There are a lot of games out there, It's just looking in the right park. But if you go on facebook. The U.S.P.A. has movd it site to facebook, as most of the organization have done. There is more exposure. But for now, Paddleballmag has both. Sign in and see where you can find a game.

Comments:That's Great !! The problem is getting the exposure. The WPH has been covering the events in Vegas for about a year. The One Wall Raquetball group holds their event at the stratisphere in Vegas. But three wall seems to be the choice for today's player.

Comments:Today, I had a great talk with the person who runs the 3 Wall Racquetball event at the Stratosphere in Vegas in September. For the 2012 event, we will be working toward erecting walls for one wall events to include small ball paddleball, big ball paddleball, one wall racquetball and one wall handball. A player may play in several events if they wish. I am also seeking sponsorship with Budweiser and other major companies. I plan to set up an association unifying all these forms of one wall. Joining the organization for a small fee will be a requirement to play in the Vegas event in addition to an entry fee. The funds will used used toward supporting the event. If you like and believe in this plan, please make your thoughts known.

Comments:Small Ball is strong for those who love it. Although I make it, I think the ball is as good as it's been. The equipment is getting better. I'm not trying to cheerlead my products, but my first batch of paddles are practically sold out. After over a year of research I have made a deal with a new factory for paddles made of combinations of materials never used. I have 16 prototypes coming in May that I will happily lend out for people to play with and test them. They are lighter then ever and have more spring in the hit. The outer shell of some are kevlar and are expected to be as strong and durable as any paddle ever made. They aren't cheap though. They'll be about $120- but they hit like no other and they will last which will make them an excellent value. Other made of less expensive materials will be $65-. I'll have pics and info of them posted on my site soon. Thank you for your support & I will keep working hard on research and development to bring new products to the

Comments:You obviously missed the Richie Miller Tournament this past September. Try to make the next one. You might feel differently in certain regard. Some of us are working toward promoting the sport and developing a higher level of products. It's a long road, but I think the people that love the game will always play it. The key to it's growth is younger players getting into the game. Easier said then done. Rather then the haters bashing much about the sport and players a positive outlook would fare a lot better.

Like you and many others that write angry messages on this sight. Paddleballmag spent 15 months reporting events, providing tournament results and news. We covered 5 different sports. We could have continued publishing our internet newsletter. But why ?

Comments:Hi Dave - I did the best I could. It seems that most of the players are changing over to racquetball. The turnout gets lower and lower. I will continue to give the small ball tournaments in 2011 God willing. I spoke to Kathy Guinan on Tuesday, and she said she still loves small. She will attend all small ball events that I give. Lots of folks are asking me to change over to racquetball, but I still love small ball. We will see what happens in 2011. Thanks for the the time - Duck (Family Affair)

Comments:I'm in my early 40's and just began playing paddleball 5 yrs ago when I moved back to the east coast. Can't believe it took me this long to realized what a great game it is. Was asked to play as a kid but hating chasing the ball so I stuck with baseball, football, basketball, and of course stickball. Not playing those sports any more. It's all paddleball baby....To bad I didn't stick with it as a kid, who knows how good I could have been by now....

But just to explain to you. The sport is great, exciting... Think of all the great players you have played mixed doubles with, the women's doubles.. years of great moments. Some battles that will stick in your memories forever... The sport from the inception to today's version of the WOR group.. All this will pass to... but for the players... remember the great games that were played.

No we are doing a photo like we did for Robert, Freddy, Anita... The problem is we can get the players to provide info ? I am trying to do a story on YOU & HOP & BOBBY... You can imagine how difficult is to try to tell younger players. How the to players of the 70-80-90 played... Sadly it's a military secret... You know that. There is no written history on the top players. Besides Hammer & Bruchi...I'd like to change that... I might die trying...

As a player I have my finger on the pulse of the game and realize the importance of a proper bouncing, long lasting affordable ball. Since I have established my relationship with this top factory 3 years ago, I have been able to provide an uninterrupted supply of Paddleballs easily obtained by simply calling or e-mailing me. The A-1 balls have become the overwhelmingly favorite ball in the game based on player feedback. It would be excellent for the game to have one ball which was my goal when I became involved in manufacturing balls. This goal appears to becoming a reality. The term, "be careful what you wish for" seems to ring in my ears these days. I say this because for the first time in 3 years, I am actually out of balls due to their overwhelming popularity. My next shipment will arrive in about 6 weeks. I sincerely apologiz

Comments:I agree in part with you in part. It does seem like the manufactures of the product/paddles and balls don't take into consideration the cost to the player. The current paddles we recommend are the "popular" brands. The paddle Company, AECI, and The Professional Paddle Company. Also there are several online vendors we can recommend. If you look at our monthly website displays. As far as the balls. Depending on your type of game. (Big or small ball). There are currently three major companies that supply balls. Again, The Paddle Company, Professional Paddle Company, Our choice (A-1 Paddleballs and AECI. All manufacture third party balls from overseas. Big Ball, The Paddle Company, Professional Paddle Company and you six different third party vendors from Ektelon to Penn.

Also we would gladly put together if you want a u-tube slide show with music. Just e-mail the pictures. We do it for the players. What's the secret. Isn't the USPA, which we gladly promote all events, We refer the products of the organization, We just want the viewers and future players to be able to go or refer to some site. Not everyone uses facebook. To limit your results to one application can't expose your sport. We just try to help promote the sport !! We are there for the sport and the players !

Comments:Further more, At lease we provide the results in honesty, We don't kiss ass to the companies that provide balls, paddles, racquets etc. We don't sell our loyalty, the little we have to anyone that shows us a dollar. The sport of One wall paddleball was on the rise, but as everything, greedy people, players and the likes have made the sport what you see now. I give you that ! You certainly are correct there! That idea that the USPA in (your opinion)is a joke, and just waste players money and time. "Is an opinion". We are not qualified to speak for them ! But if you feel that way, you should e-mail them. We "agree" there website has issues. Maybe they should be answering this e-mail ? But, "case at hand". Just because we cover different sports doesn't mean we don't follow paddleball. We can't help of the organizations that "say" they promote the sport don't. We (paddleballmag) agrees that they don't do enough ! We didn't provide the results of their last tournament because, it's a state

Comments:Thanks, Eddie ... I just want players and viewers to find what their looking for, One day you have to go to facebook, the next day you have to go to Tweeter, the next it's livestream... We want players, not the pro's. The pro's have been playing this game for almost 30 years. What's new there ! It's the young players who want to learn, want to play. But they don't know how to get started. And where are all these organization's and YOU know who you are! That are trying to promote the sports ? And how about the Product companies. Well enough of my ranting. I have to take my pill now. Stay well Eddie, Say hi to Andy for me ! Dave

Comments:NB32, I don't quite understand what you are talking about ? Please calm down, and write out your thought a little better. what are you saying when you say that other people in paddleball are preventing the sport from growing ? Also you don't have to curse. Believe me everyone will read your comment. Also consider with todays video games, the excitement of playing the game is more than winning a paddleball game ?

Comments:What are you talking about? You just went on a tangent, targeting a select number of people. Who cares if parents are tired after work, I mean they should be tired after work. This doesn't mean that he/she doesn't provide for their child. Both my parents work long days, yet they provided for me to play tennis, which I earned a scholarship to a D-1 school, maintain high GPA and succeed in many of other things that I aspire to. You should not be worrying about the faults of today regarding the internet, video games, etc. The entire population isn't being drowned in these indulgences. I still see kids at basketball, baseball, tennis, football practice. BUt nobody is in the park hitting a ball around. The sport needs to be made aware to the public. Why isnt anyone helping do this? I know for a fact their are paddleball players with connections allowing for this to occur, but it seems like nobody gives a sh!t. the reason paddleball isn't going anywhere positive is because the promot

Comments:NB32 to answer your question, The move is very slow. To get kids out to play sport, not just paddleball, but handball, One wall racquetball, Paddle Tennis. There are so many sports to get involved with. If we all worked together and focused on one step at a time. Things can (can) get done. The father that is too tired from a hard day at work or mother that works two jobs and is raising her kids is a tough jobs. I understand. But to let your kids sit and mental beat themselves up on a gameboy and X-Box while stuffing their face with chips and soda is a crime. They have created the life style that this young mind will follow. Unless he/she has the sense to get out there and do something. Don't live in a dream. Follow your dream, make it happen. It starts with the parents. The kids didn't ask to be born ! UH OH ! There goes my opinion again. Paddleballmag is concerned in a movement to get kids going. now our 10 to 14 year old should be out there learning about real life.

Comments:Jay good to hear from you. You might want to touch base with the TPC for a paddle discount. I am sure they would be interested in helping to start the program to develop new players. We (paddleballmag) if you inform the teacher of the program, will provide all the space and information they want to talk about. We have other sponsoring ideas. Also you should contact the USPA, Henry's group there in New York can assist with clinics and help set up school tournaments. And as alway Jay any project you have (we) are here to help.

Comments:About 2 weeks ago I received a call from a teacher at a NY school. He told me the kids wanted to have a paddleball program so the teacher, who agreed to run the program called me to buy a case of balls. i also told him I'd get him nice discounts on paddles for the kids if he needed them. Maybe there is a sign of life with "new blood" playing the game. I remember when I was 13-17 carrying my paddle in school everywhere I went and cutting as often as I could to get out on the courts, which were at school. I wonder if kids do that? I think they're more attached to their iphones these days.
